Urban Decay Naked 2 – Review

My lovelies,

Yes, yes, I know, I’m a bit overdue with the writing, but here I am again. The days are getting longer and the weather nicer, so I’m spending more time outside. I’ve had photos ready for this post for a longer time now, but I couldn’t find time to type the post itself, but I can see you kept reading my blog no matter my lower activity. This is, like it looks, something that happens when summer comes. I know I promised I’m going to dedicate a couple of my posts to the eyeshadow palettes, but this is going to be the last one so far, although I had two more planned. I have some other products I’d like to show you so the palettes will have to wait for a while.

Urban Decay Naked 2 palette is already the third palette I got from this brand and I could agree with myself that this is maybe my favorite one. Naked 2, like the three also comes in a tin box that contains 12 eyeshadows, each 1,3 g and it also has a small brush. It’s the same with this brush, like with the one from the number three palette aren’t very useful, but the one I got in the Smoky palette is really great. Along with this palette, I also got the base eyeshadow testers which I find really great and I like them better than my old favorite, Too Faced base. When you open this palette, you find their standard big mirror inside.

Naked 2 palette mostly has brown and gold eyeshadows which are great for everyday looks, but it also has two darker eyeshadows so you can easily combine them to make a notable, evening looks.
Like with the others Urban Decay palettes, I also like the pigmentation with this one. All their eyeshadows, except for the first one, are really good pigmented, even without the base. On the photos, you can see the swatches without the base. The lasting time, with the base is great and it will hold until you take your makeup off, without the base they will last for about 4 hours and then I started to notice they started to fade slowly. The eyeshadows are easily applied with the minimum of crumbling of some of the colors.

My favorites here are:

Half Baked – beautiful golden shade that lifts any look you’re wearing.
Tease – I think this color is simply gorgeous and I apply it on my whole lid and I would really like it if I could buy it separate as a standalone.
Ydk – copper shade with a frost finish and I apply it always when I’m using this palette.

Foxy, Half Baked, Bootycall, Chopper, Tease, Snakebite
Suspect, Pistol, Verve, Ydk, Busted, Blackout
This palette was bought over the Feelunique web page for the price of 50 €. To me, this is a true bulls eye because every color in it you can easily combine with everything so this is a factor that’s important in the price and quality ratio.

Do you own any of the Urban Decay palette and how do you like them? Do you wear colors like these or are you more of a fan of some brighter colors?
