And again I keep missing in action, but I simply can’t get out of this enchanted circle I found myself in 😀 Either I have a cold or my baby girl has it and then I just can’t find any time to sit down and write, although I miss it very much. Considering how I’m almost at the bottom of this product, I’ve decided to speed up the review a bit.
PIXI cosmetics has put a couple of facial sprays within their regular product range and this hydrating one caught my eye the most among them all. Just to mention, PIXI Glow tonic has been my favorite for ages now and it really delighted me so I wanted to try out some more of the PIXI products, but they were a bit out of my reach. Now I can finally buy them and the first thing I wanted to test was this spray.
Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist comes in a plastic bottle with a green cap in the amount of 80 ml. The expiration period is 12 months. It was bought in Mark&Spencer for the price of 22 €. You can also order it from Asos and CultBeauty.
You can use the spray before you apply your makeup if you want some extra hydration, in the evening before you apply your regular cream or anytime you feel your skin being tense.
I’ve been using it for all the above mentioned situations and I’m very satisfied with it. In fact, I’m so much satisfied that at the moment I’m not even using my beloved MAC Fix+.
So, I apply this product first in the morning, right after I wash my face, instead of tonic. It happened a couple of times that I even forgot to apply my cream after it or serum, but still, my skin didn’t feel any tension at all. For the ones among you, that still don’t know, my skin is prone to drying out and dehydration. This summer and winter season I came prepared with good preparative cosmetics basics so there’s no sign of dry skin and I’m more than satisfied.
The other situation where I’m using this spray is after applying my makeup. I know this is not a spray which will turn your makeup into concrete, but after you spray your face with it, your makeup somehow blends together nicely and it gives you this natural glow. It won’t make your makeup last any longer, but it really makes it more vivid.
In the evening, I apply it also after I clean and wash my face, before the serum or cream.
It disperses perfectly all over your face and there’s no way that it drips somewhere or that too much of the product comes out. It definitely has a better pump than the MAC Fix+.
So, I’m using it minimum 3 times on daily basis and it lasts for about a month and now it’s time I get myself a new bottle.
To me, this spray really is a must have and I notice the difference if I’m not using it so I would definitely recommend it to all of you that have dry skin, but in case you have oily skin, feel free to skip it. It didn’t cause any irritation, on the contrary, it helped with my dry skin problem.
