Lierac Hydragenist and Luminescence Serums – Review

lierac serumi

Today, I’ve decided to write about two serums which I added to my daily routine couple of months ago and since they’re almost empty, I think it’s time I write a review about them. Continue reading and find out which of them was great and which one left me unimpressed.

lierac serumi recenzija

lierac hydragenist

Lierac Hydragenist face serum for immediate and intense skin hydration and first wrinkle reduction. It is enriched with Hydra O2 complex, inspired by the tissue oxygenation technique which is used within the aesthetic medical specialty, and it works so that the oxygen, as the source of hydration and skin freshness, stimulates activation of cells which retain water deep under the skin surface.

My opinion

lierac hydragenist serum

I’ve been using the Hydragenist serum for three months now and I almost emptied it so I can say for sure that it’s a great product and it has really great effect for my dehydrated skin. Usually, the recommendation is for women above 30, but I never pay much attention to these age boundaries. I’m using products I think would do good to my skin. When I stopped using the serum, my skin felt pretty much dehydrated with slightly dry cheeks. I the beginning, I’ve been using it in the morning and in the evening before I would apply my facial cream, but after maybe a month, there was really no need to use it so often and then I started to use it only in my evening routine and I’m using only the serum plus the cream for the area around my eyes and that’s pretty much enough for my needs. My skin isn’t dehydrated anymore and it gives my skin this silky soft feeling. The serum itself has a light formula that soaks in very quick and its texture is something between gel and watery. It doesn’t leave the sticky feeling on your face and after I’ve been using it longer my face really looks fresh and rested.

SKINPOWER 5 – exclusive complex based on a mineral cocktail (iron, Zink, magnesium, manganese and copper)
Ginseng – rich in ginsenoside, peptide, glycoside and mineral in traces.
Mint – rich in A and C vitamin, soothes and cools the skin.

This serum comes in a beautiful soft pink bottle in the amount of 30 ml. You dose it with a small pipette which I really like because it’s very hygienic. I’d say it has a floral fragrance, but it vaporizes very fast after you applied it. The price you pay for it in the stores in Croatia is about 420 HRK which is too much. I ordered mine over the web page BestPharmacy for the price of 33 €.

lierac luminescence

I’m going to write only a short post about this serum because I’ve noticed it’s no longer available on the market. I didn’t see it for longer time now in our stores and I also can’t find it on BestPharmacy web page where I used to buy it. This serum too, comes in that beautiful pink bottle with a pipette in the amount of 30 ml.

This serum is meant to make your skin look momently healthy and pretty. It’s milky white in color with some small, small sparkly particles. Its texture is watery and it’s very easy to spread and soaks in very nice and fast. After I applied this serum, honestly, I didn’t see any big difference with or without this serum. In my opinion, it should at least reduce the redness and smaller irregularities, but like I already said, I didn’t see any difference although my tan is not that bad. What I like about it is the fact that after I apply it, the foundation or the BB cream really covers my skin much smoother, but any other benefits it would give you I haven’t noticed. I didn’t have any negative reactions to this product and it also smells nice. The skin is soft after you apply this product and I think this product is also a good base for the foundation and only because of this I’m going to use it till it’s empty. But I wouldn’t buy it again.

Aqua, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Lens Esculenta (Lentil) Seed Extract, Butylene Glycol, Sucrose Polystearate, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Parfum (Fragrance), Polyamide-5, Siegesbeckia Orientalis Extract, Rabdosia Rubescens Extract, Phaeodactylum Tricornutum Extract, Sodium Polyacrylate, Caprylyl Glycol, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Chlorphenesin, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Xanthan Gum, Phenoxethanol, Tocopherol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Limonene, Linalool, Hydroxycitronellal, Evernia Prunastrii (Oakmoss) Extract, Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).

There, as you can see, I was really delighted with the Hydragenist serum and I plan to make my own stash of this product when on the other hand I didn’t like Luminescence too much. In my opinion, too much money for what it’s offering you.

Which one is your favorite serum? Are you using products from the Lierac cosmetics line?
