Although for today I had planed to do a review on the Le Petit Marseillais shower gels, I decided to do the review of the Alba Botanica shower gel instead because it actually left me even more amazed than the LPM shower gels. In the following lines you can read why.
This shower gel, I ordered about 20 days ago, arrived today over iherb. I really love to shop at that web page, because really up unto this point, they never disappointed me with anything. Great products, with even greater prices.
Alba Botanica shower gel comes in a 355 ml bottle at the price of 6.77$. The expiry date is 18 months.
What inspired me to buy this shower gel was that I read on one of the forums that its scent is really long-lasting on the skin, and that is something I’ve always been looking for in the shower products. Because, to be honest, sometimes, after showering, I’m kind of lazy to run around to put some body cream on and I want my skin to smell good for as long as it’s possible.
This shower gel is intended for dry or very dry skin. My body skin is at the moment normal, although it tends to be dry occasionally, but to tell you the truth, this shower gel didn’t dry my skin out at all. And the smell of the shower gel left me really amazed. Real piňa colada fragrance, which makes my whole bathroom fragrant. And, really, the fragrance stays on the skin for a long time. If this shower gel is providing some extra care, I really didn’t notice, but I usually don’t look for that in a shower gel. For the extra care I’m using body lotions and oils. The gel consistency is something in-between thick and fluid, and one other thing, there’s no foam or bubbles when you’re using it.
I’m really satisfied with this shower gel and I’m planning on using it until I get really tired of the fragrance. Another thing that was a big plus on my account is that the product wasn’t tested on animals; it’s containing no parabene or SLS.
I’ve also noticed that this brand has a lot of interesting things in their offer, and I’m really planning on trying out some other things.
