NEUTROGENA Hydro Boost Cleanser and Gel Cream – Review

18

Hi everyone,

I’ve been using this duo, probably, since they first arrived at the market so I think it’s really time to write a review about them.

NEUTROGENA HYDRO BOOST WATER GEL

Neutrogena hydrating face cleansing gel comes in a simple, plastic, blue bottle with a pump. The amount of the product you get is 200 ml, and the price in our stores is 7-8 euro. The expiration date is 12 months.

If I’m not mistaken, this is already the forth bottle I bought and I really like this face cleansing gel. It’s not a product you can use to remove your makeup and I’m not even trying to use it for that purpose, but after I clean my face with the micellar solution, I also wash my face with this gel so it removes all the makeup that is maybe left on my skin. And like that it works great. Additionally, I’m using it also in the morning because it’s light and it doesn’t dry out my skin which is prone to that.

It didn’t cause any problems considering acne and it also didn’t cause any irritations.
In the beginning, the smell was intense but, I guess, after using it for so long now, I don’t even notice it anymore.
It seems as if the Neutrogena cleansing gels really works great for my skin because the grapefruit one is one of my favorites.

I empty it pretty fast and it’s actually the only flaw I can find but considering everything else, in my book, it has all the recommendations which is proved by the fact that I bought it 4 times by now 😊

NEUTROGENA HYDRO BOOST GEL CREAM

Neutrogena cream comes in a plastic, blue box in the amount of 50 ml. I haven’t bought this one in Croatia so I can’t really tell you what the price is but here, in Boots it costs 9,00 €. The expiration period is 12 months.

This is also a product I like a lot and it also worked great on my skin and that’s mainly the reason I’m already on my second box. Well, in the photos you can see that it’s almost empty and I’m sorry now that I haven’t taken the photos right away when I bought them.

This cream has a light gel texture and it soaks in real fast which is something I think is important because my time is a bit limited and I can’t afford to wait up to 10 minutes for a cream to soak in. I can’t say that this cream had some kind of a wooow effect on my face and it didn’t make my face glow, but I like it because it gives my face enough hydration for the day. Ever since I started using it, my skin isn’t dry or dehydrated, and this crazy weather and constant wind are honestly true ingredients to make my skin go crazy.

Another good use for this cream is also as a base for the liquid foundation. It didn’t cause any problems on my skin and it gives my face enough hydration.
I’ve also been using it during the summer months and it also showed as a great product during that period.

Like I already wrote, the second box is almost empty and for now, I’m not planning to buy a third one only because I like to try out other products too, but I’m sure I will reach for it again occasionally.

INGREDIENTS:
PR-016936 Aqua, Dimethicone, Glycerin, Cetearyl Olivate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Dimethiconol, Synthetic Beeswax, Sorbitan Olivate, Laureth-7, C12-14 Pareth-12, Polyacrylamide, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Carbomer, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin, Methylparaben, Benzoic Acid

I’m really satisfied with these products and I think they give you a good range of price and quality. Hydro Boost product line also has other products I haven’t tried out yet, but, in case you have, please, share your impressions with me in the comments.

Have you tried any products from the Hydro Boost line? How do you like them?
